The aim of this group is to provide free gardening workshops, also to provide support and mentorship of new gardeners when possible. Workshops so far have been: Winter gardening, Growing Sprouts, and Growing Potatoes. Setting up Lasagna Type garden beds is planned for November 2020. The group has garden plots behind the Awapuni Community Centre, where people can come for workshops or to take part in working bees to learn about gardening. Regular working bees are planned; watch this space for days and times.
