Join the ENM Board
We need people who are passionate about environmental issues, and who are keen to lend their skills and experience to ENM in a governance role. We aspire to achieve a board membership that reflects the diversity of our community and our commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Previous governance experience is not required — we value diverse perspectives and support our new members.
- Monthly meetings (10 per year). Requires pre-reading of agenda and reports
- 2 year term, renewable indefinitely
- Represent ENM at public/community events
- Sector advocacy, primarily through Council consultation processes
- Induction process for new members

Central Energy Trust Wildbase Recovery Volunteers
Help connect our community with New Zealand’s wildlife. As a volunteer, you’ll be one of the friendly faces welcoming visitors and sharing stories about our wildlife or helping behind the scenes with animal husbandry.
Location: Within the Victoria Esplanade, Palmerston North
Commitment: Flexible for you, a range of 2 hour shift options.

Working bee Tutukiwi Reserve
Work is varied but mostly involves weed pest control within the reserve. Anyone is welcome to join. The next working bee will be held on Friday 5th September.
Location: Tutukiwi Reserve. Volunteers meet in the reserve carpark in Moonshine Valley at 9 am.
Commitment: first Friday of every month
