The Palmerston North Girls' High School Enviro Group aims to promote, inspire, and carry through environmental awareness, responsibility, and action at PNGHS and in the wider community.

Current and recent activities include:

• Vegetable garden at school
• PNGHS energy conservation project, “switch off” campaign
• Encouraging walking and biking to school
• Compost and recycling bins around school
